Criteria

Program Dates: February 1 – March 31

(Membership beginning date in the TI portal should be February 1 or March 1)

Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your roster within the program dates to qualify.

If a club qualifies for this award during the campaign, the club will be receiving a Talk Up Toastmasters Award ribbon, which you can display on your club’s banner.

TALK UP FAQ'S

My club does Wire Transfer to do the payment, are we eligible to win the award if we have the PO generated for all the members who are going to be added?

Ans. No. Generating PO is not sufficient. We need to complete the payment effectively between 1st Feb and 31stt of March and ensure Membership beginning date in the TI portal should be February 1 or March 1.

We have added 3 members from 1st February and 2 more we added in March but the membership dates are effective from April. Are we eligible to win the award?

Ans. No. All 5 members should be added effectively between 1st of Feb and 31st of March

We have 4 members added during the mentioned time window for Talk up, since we don’t have the 5th member we are transferring one member from a different club to our club effective from 1st of March. Are we eligible to win the award?

Ans. No, we need to add new, dual or reinstated members only to be eligible to win the award.

We have added 5 members effective from 1st of March but because of some payment issue this was done by 5th of April. Are we eligible to win the award?

Ans. No. Applications and payments for members who join between Feb 1 and March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. Each member’s join date as listed on the application must be for February or March.

We have added a new member from 1st of April, later we got confirmation from the member that she wants to be added from March, so if we are paying $ 7.5 and adding the member from March are we eligible to win the award?

Ans. Yes. It’s possible but we need to coordinate with TI quickly and close the request before March 31
